Description

Behold Hyperion. Named for the titan of light, this lush world bathes in the perfect amount of sunlight. Life has developed here and has evolved for millennia, but it hasn’t always been so peaceful. In the early stages of its formation, Hyperion was struck by a planetoid-sized object. Debris was thrown in orbit, where it slowly settled in to form the rings we see today. Over time debris has begun to stick together to form 3 moons: Helios, Selene and Eos. This is an ongoing process and these moons continue to grow in size. How large they will become, and whether or not any more will develop is currently still unknown.


This is my entry for the Beyond the Frontier – Unknow Moons-contest.
